MOISTURIZER | Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu Vitamin C

Sometimes I’m a little concerned about the number of ingredients in products  ^ look how many there are o_O

I like the more sanitary packaging so you’re not digging in the jar

The texture is creamy but not too heavy. For the winter it’s not really moist enough as a night time cream so I use it in the morning – also I am told vitamin C helps your sunblock work better? This has an orange fragrance. I haven’t noticed a huge difference in my skin, but as a day cream it is moist enough and gives a dewy finish.

$72 for 1.7 oz / 50 ml – I got it for $25, seems like PTR has repackaged this into a pump packaging. Tbh I would’ve never considered trying it for the retail price, just bc I don’t value PTR products at that price bc Costco sometimes carries them for cheaper.

SERUM | Peter Thomas Roth Retinol PM

I was recommended this by a Sephora salesperson in Las Vegas about 3 years ago. At the time I didn’t really find it appealing but Costco had it for sale for cheaper at one point so I bit the bullet.

First off, the texture is very fluid, more liquid than most serums you will try. I usually dispense some in my palm and use my finger to apply – you can also use your palms but I imagine that leaves more product on your palm than your face. I noticed my skin would feel smoother the next day after using this, and it peels a bit. I didn’t especially see more brightening from this. Personally found this enjoyable to use, and I like that it doesn’t have a long list of ingredients. It didn’t help with my blackheads on my nose, but seemed to refine my pores on my cheeks

Retinol is a proven antiaging ingredient, so if you find one that your skin can handle I highly recommend it!

ACNE | Peter Thomas Roth Max Correction Pads

Denatured alcohol with aloe and other plant extracts to balance it out I guess?

Personally I’ve always thought these pad things were kind of a waste, it’s 1 time use per pad (I usually make my cotton pads last 2 times by using 1/2 of it) and lasts you 1-2 months max. However, after trying the medicube one (they were heavily advertised on IG for me) I am now more intrigued with these exfoliating pads. Usually the pads have 2 sides, a rougher one (pictured) and a regular smooth side. You use the exfoliating side first then the smooth side

If you’re not used to using alcohol in your skincare products you’ll notice this has a really heavy rubbing alcohol scent. It will STING if you have a pimple that’s open or wound on your face so be careful. I thought it was a bit strange bc a lot of American skincare products don’t have denatured alcohol now, but as an acne skincare products it makes sense bc denatured alcohol 1. makes the product dry faster and 2. could potentially disinfect your skin for bacteria. I haven’t noticed dry skin as a result so I don’t have a problem with it. I noticed these pads help take off excess skin flakes/makeup in addition to my double cleanse (cleansing oil + cleanser), which surprised me. Majority of my “flaky skin” happens on the crevices of my nose, where my pores are also big.

I don’t think this helps with my nose blackheads THAT much but I can tell a difference in the smoothness of my skin the next morning and I feel like my scars might be fading more quickly due to the exfoliating properties of this product. They added a peach bellini scent – if you have sensitive skin these pads might be too harsh on your skin between the alcohol and fragrance.

Price: $46 for 60 pads (I got mine at Costco for only $23 but it’s not there permanently, I would say search online for the best deals if you care)

Don’t forget to use sunscreen everyday! Especially with these chemical exfoliants

Update: I think my skin is too sensitive for my product. It’s definitely not healthy for your skin is feel irritated every night no matter what the exfoliate effects are

If you’re a fan of rose scented things you’ll probably like this. For me, the scent wasn’t too overwhelming, which is nice. The cream is kind of a gel cream texture, and it moisturized my skin well and seemed to have a mild calming effect upon application without clogging my pores but didn’t make a HUGE difference where I thought it changed my life.

My cousin purchased this for me in the Chinese Sephora late 2016 and I am finally almost out of it. I think if I used it every night it would last me 3 months. I was pretty surprised because moisturizers generally always last a long time for me, but recently I noticed they last 2-3 months (maybe also I use more for night time).

I wasn’t too impressed with the toner or cleanser either, but I’ll use them up eventually

$75 for 1.7 oz / 50 ml at Sephora

Peter Thomas Roth’s official website also sells products with the Hello Kitty label, but it seems like there’s only the cleanser and gel mask left at this time (link here)
